Manfred Vogelsänger gained international prominence in advertising photography in the 1980s and wrote for Camel, Fa, Langnese or McDonald’s advertising history.
His first exhibition took place in 1979 in The Photography Gallery in Duesseldorf with star photographer Peter Lindbergh.
After his successful career in people, life and action photography, Manfred Vogelsänger specialized in film and founded the Vogelsänger Film GmbH Düsseldorf in 1989.
For his work as a photographer and director Manfred Vogelsänger has been honored with numerous national and international awards and awards.
He is a member of the Art Director’s Club Germany (ADC) and was Executive Vice President of commercial film producers of Europe (CFP-E) for many years. 
In November 2016 he was appointed a honorary member of the German Film Academy. After his retirement from the operational business of Vogelsänger Film GmbH, he devoted himself majority of photography as art.
